6.3 Definitions.
6.3.1 Igniter teat configurations. To provide realism in environmental testing, igniters maybe in one of several
conditions to simulate various aspects of the life cycle
6.3.1.1 Shipping condition. For Type I igniters, the igniter shall be installed in the rocket motor which in turn
shall be installed in its shipping container. For Type II igniter the igniter shall be packaged in its shipping container.
The storage condition is considered to be the same as the shipping condition.
6.3.1.2 Operational condition. The igniter shall be installed in the rocket motor which in turn shall be generally
ready for its intended use.
6.3.1.3 Bare condition, The igniter shall be in the configuration representative of its condition prior to installation
in the rocket motor.
6.4 Relationship of requirements ot quality assurance provisions. A cross-reference between the
requirements of section 3 and the quality assurance provisions of section 4 is presented in table Xl.
6.5 Typical program schedule. A typical program schedule showing specification requirements is presented
as shown in figure 1.
