3.2.1.2 Liqht emittinq diode (LEDs) illumination. The (LEDs)
shall be clearly visible when observed at light levels of zero to
ten foot-candles at a distance of 18 to 20 inches from the viewers
keyboard.
3.2.1.3 Electroluminescent backliqht (ELB) illumination. The
ELB shall illuminate all keys so that the keys are clearly visible
when observed at light levels of zero to ten foot-candles at a
distance of 18 to 20 inches from the viewers eye when a 35 plus or
minus 1 volt rms sine wave is connected to the keyboard.
3.2.2 Physical characteristics. The physical characteristics
shall be as prescribed by the drawings, specifications, and QAP's.
