MILITARY SPECIFICATION
LAUNCHER, GRENADE, 40MM; M79
This specification is mandatory for use by all Departments and Agencies
of the Department of Defense.
SCOPE
1.
1.1 This specification covers one type of single-shot, breech-
loading, shoulder weapon which fires a low velocity 40 millimeter (MM)
grenade projectile.
