4.5 Test methods and procedures
4.5.1 Pull test of crimped connections - Before molding
into connector assemblies, the cable (wire) shall be held se-
curely and the required force applied to each contact (female
and prong) at a rate not to exceed 1/8 inch per minute. Ob-
servation shall be made for compliance with the applicable
requirements.
4.5.2 Resistance of extension line.
- This test shall be
performed after molding of connectors to
cable (wire). The
resistance shall be measured at the male
connector with female
connector shorted. Observation shall be
made for compliance
with the applicable requirements.
PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY
5.
- Level C. - The assemblies
5.1 Packaging and Marking
shall be packaged, packed and marked in accordance with MIL-
STD-1169.

NOTES
6.1 Intended Use. - The extension line and spool assembly
Is intended to be used with the M18A1E1 Mine.
6.2 Ordering Data. - Procurement documents shall specify
the following:
Title, number and date of this specification.
a.
Provisions for submission of first article samples.
b.
Provisions of MIL-A-48078.
c.
6.3 Submission of Inspection Equipment Designs for Approval
- (See MIL-A-48078). Submit equipment designs as required to
Commander: Picatinny Arsenal, ATTN: SARPA-A-QA-T- Dover, New
Jersey 07801.
6.4 Distribution of ammunition data cards. - Distribution
of data cards shall include the following: Commander, Picatinny
Arsenal, ATTN: SARPA-QA-A-M Dover, New Jersey 07801.
