MILTARY SPECIFICATION
LASER, GUNNERY TRAINER: M55
WARNING EYE HAZARD
THE LASER BEAM CAN BE DANGEROUS AND CAUSE BLINDNESS
IF IT ENteRS THE EYES EITHER DIRECTLY OR REFLECTED
OFF OF A REFLECTED SURFACE. BEFORE FIRING THE LASER,
OPERATOR SHOULD TAKE ADEQUATE PRECAUTIONS TO ASSURE
MAXIMUM SAFETY
This specification is approved for use by all Department and Agencies
of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers one type of laser device, Designated
Laser, Gunnery Trainer: M55, with equipment, Part number 10554640. The
Laser Gunnery Trainer: M55 without equipment iS Part Number 11741700.
