MILITARY SPECIFICATION
MOTORS. DIRECT CURRENT, INTEGRAL Ho P. , NAVAL SHIPBOARD
All lnterested Bureaus of the Navy department have concurred in the use of this
specification.
1. SCOPE
1.1 S c o p e . - This specification covers integral horsepower, corrosion resistant, direct-current,
m o t o r for shipboard use.
1.2 Classification. - Motors shall be of the following services as specified (see 6. 2).
Service A (see 3.1.22 and 6.1).
Service C (see 3.1.23 and 6.1).
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
