MILITARY SPECIFICATION
MECHANISM, RECOIL, 155MM HOWITZER: M45
This specification is approved for use by U.S. by Armament
Research and Development Command (Rock Island Arsenal), and
is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the
Department of Defense.
SCOPE

1.1 Scope. This specification covers one type of hydro-pnematic
recoil mechanism designed for use with the 155 millimetre (mm) howitzer,
M198,
