4 . 3 . 3 R e j e c t i o n . I f any device fails to comply with any of the
a p p l i c a b l e requirements, t h e first article sample shall be rejected.
T h e Goverment reserves the right to terminate its inspection upon any
f a i l u r e of a device in the sample to comply with any of the stated
requirements.
4 . 3 . 4 R e q u a l i f i c a t i o n . T h e device shall be subjected to another
First Article as stipulated in the contract if:
a. T h e contractor's manufacturing techniques or process
c o n t r o l s which affect the form, f i t , function or internal geometry
o f the device are revised by either the contractor or one of his
s u b - c o n t r a c t o r s supplying parts or assemblies.

T h e contractor relocated his assembly facilities.
c* T h e contractor uses a new sub-contractor for material,
p a r t s , or assembly.
A change occurs i n devices's material, performance or

assembly.
