5. PACKAGING:
5.1 Packaging, packing and marking. Packaging, packing and marking shall
be in accordance with Packaging Data Sheet 11834833. The level of protection
shall be as specified in the procurement document.
NOTES

6.1 Intended use. The Periscope Mount 11834833 is primarily intended to
support the Tank Periscope M44A1E1 and M44A2E1 in the Sheridan Vehicle M551.
Ordering data.
Procurement documents should specify the following:

a.
Selection of applicable levels of preservation, packaging and

packing
Applicable stock number
Applicable packaging data sheet number (see 5.1)

Provisions for First Article testing

6.3 Delay in Distribution. Document was approved 15 February 1980, how-
ever, it was not received by Department of Defense Single Stock Point for
indexing and distribution until January 1984.
