3.1 Material.  Materials shall be in accordance with the
applicable drawing, specifications and standards.
3.2 Components and assemblies.  The components and assemblies
shall comply with all requirements specified on Drawing (Dwg.
9292710) and all associated drawings and with all requirements
specified in applicable specifications and standards.
3.3 Pretest of main charge explosive.  Each lot of
Composition B4 explosive used to load the case assembly to make
the Kill Mechanism (Dwg. 9292638) shall be qualified prior to use
in production.  The HE explosive fill, when initiated by normal
production booster pellets, shall produce high order detonation as
evidenced by high degree of fragmentation of the Case Assembly
(Dwg. 9292639) (See 4.5.2).
3.4 HE explosive exudation.  The completely assembled Kill
Mechanism (Dwg. 9292638) with loading holes facing down shall not
exude externally when subjected to a temperature of 160 + 5F
for a period of twenty-four (24) hours (See 4.5.3).
3.5 Verification of safe condition of body assembly.  Prior
to assembly of explosive leads and closure plug, positive
verification of safe condition of each body assembly shall be
performed to assure the following:
a. Both battery cells are not activated (See Table II).
b.  Firing Capacitor is shorted by shorting bar (See
Table II).
c. S&A slider assembly is in safe position (distance
from end of S&A to slider assembly, max)  (See Dwg. 9328743).
d.  Borerider not functioned (distance from end of sleeve
