4.5.6  Moisture and volatiles content of charge assembly
propellant.  The contractor shall provide adequate controls to
insure compliance with the applicable requirement.  The moisture and
total volatiles content of each lot of propellant shall be
determined at the loading station at the time of loading the charge
assemblies.  This determination shall be made at least once for each
eight (8) hours of production.  Sampling and testing of the
propellant shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-286, Method 101.1.2.
If the moisture and total volatiles content fails to comply with the
requirement specified on the applicable drawing and loading of the
charge assemblies has not begun, the propellant lot shall be
rejected until corrective action has been taken as verified by
repeating the moisture and total volatiles content determination.
If loading has begun, charge assemblies loaded with the
non-conforming propellant shall be rejected.

4.5.7 Leakage test of propellant charge assembly.
specified quantity of charge assemblies shall be subjected to the
pressure specified on the applicable drawing using equipment as
specified in 4.4.4.  A water immersion test shall be used.  Any
assembly which emits bubbles shall be rejected.  Charge assemblies
(Destructive test)
so tested shall not be returned to any lot.
5. PACKAGING
5.1 Packaging requirements.  The only packaging requirements
that are required is for intraplant storage prior to loading,
assembling and packing of the CBU-78/B and CBU-89/B Dispensers.

6.1  Intended use.  The Mine, Antitank:  HE, BLU-91/B covered by
this specification intended for use as an antitank mine dispensed
from Dispensers CBU-89/B and CBU-76/B.

6.3  Submission of inspection equipment designs for approval.
See MIL-A-48078.  Submit equipment designs as required to Commander
US Army Armament, Research, Development and Engineering Center,
ATTN:  AMSMC-QAT-I (D), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000.  This
address will be specified on the Contract Data Requirements List, DD
Form 1423 in the contract.  Unless otherwise specified, data items
D1-R-1714 will apply.
6.4 Distribution of ammunition data cards and test data.
Distribution of data cards shall include the following:  Technical
Agency required in contract.  Commander, US Army Armament, Research,
Development and Engineering Center, ATTN:  AMSMC-QAT-M (D),
Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000.
