4.4 Quality conformance inspection .
4. 4.1 Inspe ction lot formation. Inspection lots shall comply
with the lot formation provisions of MIL-A-48078. In addition,
inpection lots of classroom models shall contain molding compound
(See 4.4.1.1)
from one manufacturer's batch.
4.4.1.1 Moldinq com pound batch. A molding compound batch is
herein defined as material from one manufacturer's lot, produced in
one continuous unchanged process using raw materials from one
homogeneous lot.
4.4.1.2 Classroom model batch. A batch of classroom models is
herein defined as mines molded and cured in one unchanging process
using molding compound from one batch (See 4.4.1.1) . The-mines in
the batch shall consist of material mixed and cured at one time l
If a continuous type process is used, a batch of classroom
models shall consist of that quantity of mines molded and cured
within a four (4) hour period or portion thereof using molding
compound from one batch .
4.4.2 Examination. See MIL-A-48078. Unless otherwise
specified in-the Classification of Defects and Test tables, sampling
plans and procedures for major and minor defects shall be in
accordance with MIL-STD-105, inspection Level II.
