6.
NOTES
6.1 Intended use. the assemblies covered by this
specification are intended for use in a Mine, Anti-Personnel, M86.
6.2 Ordering data.
See MIL-A-48078 (PA).
6.3 Submission of designs for approval. See 6.2.3 of
MIL-A-48078. Submit equipment designs, as required, to Commander,
USARDEC, ATTN: AMSMC-QAT-M (D) , Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey
07806-5000. This address will be specified on the Contract Data
Requirements List, DD Form 1423 in the Contract. Unless otherwise
specified, data item DI-R-1714 will apply.
Request that letter of submittal state the contractor,
contract number, specification number, item nomenclature and
classification of defects or test paragraph.
6.4 Molding compound batch definition. A batch of molding
compound is herein defined as that quantity of compound mixed at
one time using base resin and hardener of one lot number from one
manufacturer to mold housings of plugs in one continuous,
unchanged process. When a continuous type mixing process is used,
a batch is that quantity of molding compound mixed and dispensed
in one continuous unchanged process during a one (1) hour period
or portion thereof using base resin and hardener of one lot number
from one manufacturer.
6.5 Distribution of ammunition data cards, inspection and
test results, process controls. Distribution of ammunition data
cards, inspection and test results, process controls shall be sent
