4.5.3 Preproduction acceptance criteria. Acceptance shall be based
on meeting all specified requirements in the preproduction tests and
upon satisfactory completion of the final quality conformance tests
and examinations. For motors subjected to life test, the insulation
resistance and no-load speed requirements are modified in accordance
with 3.3.4.
4.6 Periodic production tests. Periodic production samples, selec-
ted in accordance with 4.3.2, shall be subjected to tests of 4.5.
4.6.1 Periodic production test equipment. The items of test equip-
ment shall be those specified for the conduction of all tests of
4.5 and 4.7.
4.6.2 Periodic production test schedule. The periodic test sam-
ple shall be subjected to the tests noted in Table IV in the order
specified.
4.6.3 Periodic production acceptance criteria. Acceptance criteria
shall be in accordance with 4.3.2. and 4.7.1.3.
4.7 Quality conformance tests and examinations. Unless otherwise
specified each motor delivered under contract shall be subjected to
the tests and examinations specified herein.
4.7.1 Conditions
4.7.1.1 Test sequence. Unless otherwise noted, sequence of test-
ing procedures presented herein is mandatory and must be performed
in order shown.
4.7.1.2 Test results. Where space is provided in the Report Form
(Appendix) to indicate value or specific reading obtained, the spe-
cific reading shall be recorded if a limit or limits are given in
Limits column for the test. If limits are not stated in Limits col=
umn, the individual performing test or inspection shall initial in
spaces provided in Reading column indicating that requirements were
satisfactorily met.
