The source impedance characteristics which the TACAN station
identity signal generator shall exhibit are as follows:
less than 100 ohms

Odd-Even Channel Output - A discrete output

signal shall be provided to indicate that an odd or even channel
has been selected. - A +28 4 Volts dc (open circuit) signal, with
a source impedance greater than 75K ohms, shall indicate that an
even numbered channel has been selected. A 0.0 1.0 Volts, dc
signal, with a source impedance less than 100 ohms, shall indicate
that an odd numbered channel has been selected.

Air-to-Air Control Output - A discrete output
signal of +28 4 Volts dc (open circuit) amplitude, with a source
impedance greater than 75K ohms, shall indicate that the Air-to-
Air mode of operation has been selected.
Referenced Decode Output - A pulsed output

signal shall be provided to indicate that the equipment has
decoded a main reference burst.
Power Control Signal - A discrete output signal

of +25 5 Volts dc amplitude, shall he provided in the Receive,
Transmit-Receive, and Air-to-Air Modes and associated equipment
for the purpose of external power control.

Converter, Signal Data CV-3135/ARN-84(V)
Function - The Signal Data Converter shall

provide the conversion of data from the Receiver-Transmitter RT-
1127/ARN-84(V) to flight instruments for presentation of slant
range and/or bearing of an aircraft to a ground navigation beacon
or another aircraft.
3.5.8.2 Form Factor - The form factor of the Signal
Data Converter shall be in accordance with Figure 8.
Weight - The weight of the Signal Data
3.5.8.3
Converter shall not exceed 9.0 pounds.
