3.5.2.4.3
Signal Outputs to the NC - Signal outputs to the NC
shall be functional interrupt pulses, discrete outputs, and serial data
Interrupt Pulse - The Interrupt pulse shall be a
3.5.2.4.3.1
differential logical "1" pulse of 500 ns 40 percent duration. Other
pulse characteristics shall be as detailed in Paragraph 3.5.2.4.1. An
interrupt pulse shall be output within 1 ms whenever any switch function
listed within the interrupt word of Paragraph 3.5.2.4.3.3 is actuated.
Discrete Outputs - Discrete outputs shall be steady
3.5.2.4.3.2
state logic signals output on individually dedicated lines for the
following functions:
Logical "1" = Switch depressed
BULK ERASE
Logical "0" = Switch released
BIT
Bulk Erase signal shall only be enabled if the ENTER PBI is also
depressed.  BIT signal shall output when the BIT input signal is received
as a BIT CMD Logical "1" (Paragraph 3.5.2.4.4.7).
Interrupt Word Serial Output - Interrupt Word serial
3.5.2.4.3.3
output to the NC shall be as tabulated. Keyboard bit code shall apply
as listed in Table III. Logical "1" shall indicate PBI actuation, and all
word bits shall be logical "0" after the word dump.
