Pattern Correct - The Control shall provide a

pushbutton key to designate execution of a pattern correct - PATT. The
key shall be a momentary actuation type, and shall be illuminated green
when inactive. Illumination of the PATT key shall be under software
control and shall be amber when active.
Insert Marker - The Control shall provide a push-

button key to designate the insertion of a marker - INSR MKR. The key
shall be momentary actuation with electronic memory interlock as in
Paragraph 3.5.4.5.4. The key illumination color shall be greeen when
inactive and amber when active.
Entry - The Control shall provide a pushbutton key

to enter correction and marker insertion data - (ENTER). The key shall
be a guarded momentary actuation type. The key shall be illuminated
green when inactive, and amber when active. Key illumination shall be
under software control.
Fly-to-Light - The Control shall provide a light to

announce the "fly-to" function when illuminated. The light shall be off
when the function is inactive, green when active, and labeled - FLY TO.
The light shall be readily visible from as wide a viewing angle as
practical. The light shall be under software control.
Dimming Control - The Control shall provide a single

dimming control for lighting power for the "FLY TO" light and all push-
button key illumination. Clockwise rotation shall result in increased
brightness.
Marker Table - The Control shall be labeled with a
3.5.4.5.10
marker number table on the face of the lighting panel as follows:

Panel Lighting - Panel lighting shall conform to

MIL-P-7788D, Class 1-R, Type V. Excitation shall be 26 to 5 VAC exter-
nally controlled.
Push-Button Lighting - Push-button nomenclature
3.5.4.6.2
shall be white translucent when unlit, green for standby lighted, and
amber for active per Paragraph 3.5.4.5. Background shall be black.
Push-button and "Fly To" lamp dimming shall be controlled by a
self-contained dimmer available to the operator. Excitation shall be 26
VAC, 400 Hz, aircraft lighting power.
