INS Warn - The Control-Indicator shall provide an indicator
30.5.3.5.2
lamp to signal when the INS annunciates INS Master Warning on the INS
Control Display Unit. The Control-Indicator shall include a lamp driver
circuit when shall present a load of 20,000 or more ohms referenced to
aircraft ground and shall operate according to the following logic:
Greater than 17 VDC = WARN
= NOT WARN
Less than 3.5 VDC
The lamp shall be illuminated amber when the INS signals WARN. The lamp
shall provide integral push-to-test function and adjustable brightness
control.
Aircraft Power - The equipment shall utilize aircraft power

as follows:
(1) 0 - 26 VAC, 400 Hz, 1 0, 0.6 amp.
(2) 28 VDC, 4 watts
Panel Illumination - The Control-Indicator shall incorporate

an integrally illuminated information panel per MIL-P-7788, Class 1R,
type V. The panel shall utilize 26V, 400 Hz, aircraft dimmable power.
Electrical Connections - Connections to external circuits

Mounting - The Control-Indicator shall meet the requirements

of MIL-C-6781 for Type II control panels, and shall utilize the mounting
dimensions of MS33638.

black, No. 37038, in accordance with FED-STD-595.
