NOTES
6.1 Intended use. Pumps covered by this specification are intended for
pumping sea water through the condenser for condensing steam.
6.2 Ordering data.
Acquisition documents shall specify the

(1) Rated capacity and range of capacity.
(2) Rated total head at rated capacity.
(3) Fluid to be pumped.
(4) Specific gravity of fluid.
(5) Temperature of fluid, normal, maximum, and minimum.
(6) Suction head available, normal, maximum, and minimum.
(7) Casing design and test pressures.
(8) Special performance requirements, if any (e.g., maximum
shutoff head).
