4.4.12  Environmental tests.  The power supply and distribution
box shall be subjected to the following environmental tests. All data
shall be recorded on continous recording type charts capable of being
read with a resolution of 1 deg. F.  Prior to conducting the high and
low temperature storage test and the non operating altitude test
(15,000 ft.), the accumulator shall be repressurized.  Prior to
conducting the low storage test, remove the battery.
4.4.12.1 High temperature operating test.  The power supply and
distribution box shall be stabilized in an ambient air temperature of
plus 125F.  There shall be no evidence of damage to any component or
leakage exceeding that specified in 3.4.5.  While at that temperature,
the power supply shall be tested as specified in 4.4.1 through 4.4.9.
4.4.12.2 Low temperature operating test.  The power supply and
distribution box shall be stabilized in an ambient air temperature of
0F.  There shall be no evidence of damage to any component or leakage
exceeding that specified in 3.4.5.  While at that temperature, the
power supply shall be tested in accordance with 4.4.1 through 4.4.9.
4.4.12.3  High temperature storage test.  After depressurizing
the accumulator, the hydraulic power supply and distribution box shall
be placed in an ambient air temperature of plus 160 deg. F for a
period of 72 hours.  At the end of that time, the power supply shall
be removed and inspected.  There shall be no evidence of damage to any
component or leakage exceeding that specified in 3.4.5.  Following
stabilization at plus 80 F deg. +10 deg. F, the power supply shall be
tested in accordance with 4.4.1 through 4.4.9.
4.4.12.4 Low temperature storage test.  After repressurizing the
accumulator, the hydraulic power supply and distribution box shall be
placed in an ambient air temperature of minus 65 deg. F for a period
of 72 hours.  At the end of that time, the power supply shall be
removed and inspected.  There shall be no evidence of damage to any
component or leakage exceeding that specified in 3.4.5.  Following
stabilization at plus 80 deg. F,
10 deg. F, the power supply shall
be tested in accordance with 4.4.1 through 4.4.9.
4.4.12.5 Humidity test.  The hydraulic power supply and
distribution box shall be subjected to 24 hours exposure at a relative
humidity between 95 and 100 percent and at an air temperature of plus
125 deg. F.  The power supply and distribution box control panels
shall be exposed (see 3.3c) and connected for test as specified in
While at this condition, the power supply shall be tested in
4.4.5.
accordance with 4.4.1  through 4.4.9.
