a.  One (1) test bar (0.50 x 0.50 x 1.0 inches or 0.50 inch
diameter x 1.0 long) from each molding compound batch (See
4.5.10.1) used to manufacture the Housings in f below.  A second
test bar shall be made available for use in the event the first
bar fails the test in 4.3.2 due to a void.  Tolerances on
specimen dimensions shall be + 0.01 inches.
b.
20 Barrier Assemblies (Dwg. 9298476).
50 S&A Assemblies (Dwg. 9298464) (less set back pin,
setback spring, electric detonator and lead cup assembly)
sealing ball, detonator shield, setback cap, sealing washers,
sealing balls, and terminal clip.
d.
100 Sensor Assemblies (Dwg. 9298569).
e.
25 Anti-disturbance Switches (Dwg. 9298512).
f.  216 Housing, Timing and Fuzing (Type I or II as specified)
(Dwg. 9298450) prior to molding over test pads and adding jumper
wires.
g.  Certification that each molding compound batch (See
4.5.10.1) used to manufacture the Housing in f complies with the
requirements in MIL-M-48245 for compressive modulus, flexural
strength, flexural modulus and area under the flexural strength
curve.
4.3.2  Inspections to be performed.  The First Article parts
submitted in accordance with 4.3.1 will be subjected by the
Government to any or all the requirements of the applicable drawings
and to the examinations, inspections,  and tests specified herein.
a.  The test bars for 4.3.1 (a) shall be tested for
compressive strength as specified in 4.5.10.2,
b.  The twenty (20) barrier assemblies from 4.3.1 (b) shall be
subjected to the examinations specified in 4.4.2.2 and shall
then be subjected to the shear test specified in 4.5.5.
c.  The fifty (50) S&A assemblies from 4.3.1 (c) shall be
subjected to the test for presence of sliders and slider springs
specified in 4.5.3.  The assemblies shall then be subjected to
the arming test specified in 4.5.1, followed by the nonarming
test specified in 4.5.2.
