the periscope only). The shock pulse shall have a half sine wave with
a time duration of 18 3 milliseconds. Subsequent to shock, there
shall be no failure or flicker of light emission from the image tube
nor the reticle projector lamp. The periscope shall also show no
evidence of physical failure. Following the shock test, the periscope
shall meet the requirements o 3.6.3.2, 3.6.4.1, 3.6.9, 3.6.2, 3.6.3.1,
3.6.3.1.1, 3.6.3.1.2, 3.6.5, 3.6.6, 3.6.6.1, 3.6.7, 3.6.8, 3.2, 3.1,
3.5 and then each module (see 3.1) shall meet their own respective
post-shock test requirements."
