3.
REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Fabrication.- The periscope shall be manufactured in accordance
with Drawing F11747400 and drawings pertaining theret The following shall
-have met their respective specifications (except that they need not be sub-
jetted to separate temperature, vibration & shocktest) and be interchange-
able within the requirements of this specification.

3.2 Interchangeability.
a. Modules.- The periscope shall meet the requuirements of 3.8.2,
3.8,5, 3.8.6, 3.8.6.l and 3.8.8 without need for realighnment of components
or selection of modules listed in 3.1.  Adjustment, other than those speci-
fied herein, are prohibited.
b.  Periscope with mount.- The
periscope shall be capable of in-
sertion into The Mount Periscope: Mll8El
(gages are specified in lieu of
mount in 4.6.7.2].  After insertion, the
periscope shall be capable of
being firmly secured and subsequently
removed.
3.3 General specification.- The contractor shall be responsible for
adherence to, and compliance with the following requirements of MIL-F-13926.

Dimensions and tolerances
c.
Inorganic protective surface finishes
d.
Part identification and marking
e.
Workmanship
