5.2 Packing, level B. Projectiles, unit packed as specified in 5.1.2, shall
be packed together in multiples of four carrier assemblies, in accordance with
Drawing 122-3-70.
5.3 Unitization.  Unless otherwise specified in the contract or order, items
packed in accordance with 5.2 shall be palletized in accordance with Drawings
19-48-4116-20PA1002 and 19-48-4116/32-20PA1002.
5.4 Marking.
5.4.1 Commercial/industrial.  Projectiles packaged in accordance with 5.1.1
shall be marked in accordance with the  applicable requirements of ASTM D 3951.
5.4.2 Level B.  Projectiles, unit packed and packed in accordance with 5.1.2
and 5.2, shall in addition to any special marking required by the contract or
purchase order be marked as appropriate in accordance with Drawings 122-3-143-
10 and 122-3-70.
6. NOTES
6.1 Intended use.  The projectile covered by this specification is intended
for use in the M234 launcher.
Acquisition documents should specify the following:
6.2 Ordering data.
(a) Title, number, and date of this specification
(b) Preproduction:
(1) Time allowed for contractor submission of samples for Govern-
ment test and evaluation after award of contract.
(2) Name and address of test facility and shipping instructions
when testing is performed by the Government.
(3) Time required for the Government to notify the contractor
whether or not to proceed with production.
(c) Level of packaging.
6.3 Caution.
(a) The M755 Blank cartridges are classified class "C" explosives with
a minimum of susceptibility to static discharge detonation.  They should be
handled in a careful manner with caution against impact and shock loading.
(b) Firing ranges shall be enclosed, constructed to contain the
projectile and all ac cess controlled during firing.
