6.
NOTES
6.1 Intended use. The panels are primarily intended for use with Tank
Periscope: M44A1E1 or M44A2E1. They are intended to suply a regulated DC
output voltage to energize the image intensifier tube of these periscopes and
to provide a charging current for the stand-by battery employed. The panels
are also intended to provide distribution of an adjustable voltage for panel
assembly and reticle projector illumination and wiper motor operation.
6.2 Ordering data. Procurement documents should specify the following:
a. Title, number and data this specification.
b. Applicable stock number.
c. Selection of applicable levels of presentation, packaging and
packing.
d. Requirements for First Article submission.
6.3 Delay in Distribution. Document was approved 15 February 1980, how-
ever, it was not received by Department of Defense Single Stock Point for
indexing and distribution until January 1984.
