When tested in accordance with the applicable tests of MIL-C-85764
the occurrence of one or more of the following shall be cause for
rejection of the lot, except as otherwise provided herein.
Body separation or breakup.
a.
Loss of nose.
b.
Complete rotating band separation. This is defined as

detachment of all the band having hand seat knurling imprint.
Partial rotating band separation. This is defined as the

detachment of part of the band having band seat knurling
imprint.
The following criteria shall apply to thrown band fragments
e.
having no evidence of band seat knurling imprint.
(1) The lot shall be rejected If three or more assemblies
throw band fragments having lengths not greater than
0.500 inch.
