2.2 Other publications.-The following documents, also,
form a part of this specificatlon to the
specified herein.
Unless otherwise indicated, the issue in effect on date of
invitation for bids shall apply.

3.
REQUIREMENTS
3.1 The material shall consist of pulverized quartzite
which conforms to the following requirements:
3.1.1 Form. -When examined mlcroscopically as specified
in 4.3.1 the material shall show crystals having sharp angles
(indicative of material made from crushed quartz that has not
appreciably decomposed) and there shall be a variety of size
of particles.
3.1.3 Loss on Ignition. -The loss on ignition shall not
exceed 1.5 percent when tested as specified in 4.2.3.
