RANGEFINDER, FIRE CONTROL, LASER: 11743101
This amendment forms a part of MIL-R-48595A [AR) , dated 30
June 1981, and is approved for use by the U.S. Army
Armament, Munitions, and Chemical command, Department of
the Army, and is available for use by all Departments and
Agencies of the Department of Defense.

Add the following paragraph:
"3.1.4 Interchangeability. The rangefinder shall meet all the
requirements of this specification without the need for selective
assembly of the units and cables. The units shall be
interchangeable e, such that replacement of any single unit or
random combination of units of the rangefinder permits the system
to operate and perform to the requirements of this specification.
NOTE :
The PFN current adjustment may be reset after substitution
of a different Electronic Unit or Receiver-Transmitter unit to
meet the system performance requirements but shall not be further
adjusted from the initial setting before, during, or after the
environmental tests."
