3.3.1.22.2 Elevation, The elevation drive train starting
torque shall not exceed 50 oz-in when alternately applying torque in the
positive and negative directions to the elevation positioning knob of the
receiver-transmitter control, and when monitoring for movement Of the
scan prism. Backlash during the starting torque shall not exceed 36
degrees rotation of the elevation positioning knob.
3.3.1.23 PFN discharge the. With the 24 Vdc power
source (item 1. 1 of table II) removed, the PFN current between pins
t(+) and e(-) of test access connector J5 on the Laser Power Supply

Control C-9135 ( )/VVG-l (1 1738831) shall decrease to less than 7
micro amperes within 25 seconds.
3.3.2 Environmental.
3.3.2.1 Storage temperature. The range finaler shall meet
the requirements of 3.3.1.3, 3.3.l.6b, 3.3.1.8, and 3.3.1.15 through
3.3.1.23 at ambient temperature after exposure to and thermal
stabilization at -80 F and +1600 F.
3. 3.2.2 Operating temperature. The range finaler shall
meet the requirements of 3.3.1.3, 3.3.1.6c, , and 3. 3.1.8 while exposed
to and thermally stabilized at -40F. and +125F, subsequent to which
the requirements of 3.3.1.3, 3.3.1.6b, 3.3.1.8, and 3.3.1.15 through
3.3.1.23 shall be met at ambient temperature. The range finale r shall
meet the requirements of 3.3.1. 6f(2), while exposed to and thermally
stabilized at -20 F.
3. 3.2.3 Vibration "A". The rangefinder shall meet the
requirements of 3. 3.1.3 and shall show no physical failure during the
following vibratory exposure;
a.
Double amplitude and acceleration as shown in figure 1.
b.
Total test time of 150 minutes per axis, except
there shall be no resonance "dwells.
Subsequent to ments of 3.3. vibration exposure, the range finaler shall meet the require-
ment of 3.3.1.6b, 3.3.1.8, and 3.3.1.15 through 3.3.1.23 at ambient
temperature.
