REQUIREMENTS
3.2
G e n e r a l requirements .
- Unless otherwise speci-
f i e d i n t h e c o n t r a c t o r o r d e r p r e p r o d c t i o n s a m p l e s of the
S w i t c h , Hydrostatic, Mark 63 Mod 0 or Mod 1 shall be manu-
f a c t u r e d using the methods and procedures proposed for the
p r o d u c t i o n l o t . T h e s e samples will be tested as specified in
s e c t i o n 4 herein and are for the purpose of determining that
t h e production item meets the requirements of this specification
a n d the design. P r o v i s i o n of samples shall be in accordance
with 4.1.2.
d i m e n s i o n s for the Switch, Hydrostatic Mark 63 Mod 0 or Mod 1
shall meet the requirements of LD 479921 or LD 548490 and this
s p e c i f i c a t i o n . E x a m i n a t i o n shall be in accordance with 4.5.1.
3.2.3
- Marking of assemblies sub-assemblies
a n d parts shall be in accordance with the applicable drawings
listed in BUORD LD No. 479921 or LD 548490.
3.2.4
- Component parts of assem-
b l e d units (unless otherwise specified on the applicable draw-
ings) fabricated in strict agreement with their applicable
d r a w i n g s shall be interchangeable and shall assemble with
m a t i n g components of the unit without selection or fitting.
I f , during assembly of the fabricated parts of a unit, selec-
t i o n or fitting is required and changes in dimensions are
n e c e s s a r y , n o changes in the parts as delineated on applicable
d r a w i n g s will be made without prior revisions and correction
o f the applicable drawings.
