3.4.4 Size.  Comminutor size denotes the nominal pipe size of the influent
and effluent lines.  Sizes and quantities provided shall be as specified (see
6.2.1).
3,4.5 Mounting.  The comminutor unit shall mount solely by the influent and
effluent line flanges without degradation of performance.
3.4.6 Inlet and discharge line diameters.  Comminutor inlet and discharge
bore size shall be the same as the inside diameter of the connected soil (sewage)
piping flanges.  Nominal pipe size shall be the same as the comminutor size.
Detailed flange dimensions shall be as specified in MIL-F-20042.
3.5 Motor.
The comminutor drive motor shall conform
MIL-M-17060.
CO
3.5.1 Motor horsepower.  Minimum standard motor horsepower ratings for
specified comminutor size shall be as set forth in table I.
