MILITARY SPECIFICATION
SEAL, RF AND PRESSURE
This specification is approved for use by all
activities of the Department of the Army.
1.
SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers the requirements for strips of material
consisting of knitted Monel metal bonded to closed cell chloroprene rubber, which
functions both as an RF and pressure seal.
1.2 Classification. The strips are classified by dash numbers in accordance
with cross-sectional dimensions shown in Figure 1 and Table I.
2.
