3 . 1 . 2 General specifications. The following provisions of MIL-F-13926
apply: (See 4.5.1)

3 . 1 . 3 Ambient conditions. Standard ambient conditions shall be as
follows:

a. Temperature
5 0 percent + 30 percent
b. Relative humdity
2 8 . 5 + 2.0 -3.0 in. Hg.
c. Atmospheric pressure
3.2 First article. When specified (see 6.2), the contractor shall
f u r n i s h sample units for first. article inspection and approval. (See 4.4 and
6.2).
3.3 Performance. Unless otherwise specified, the assembly shall meet the
p e r f o r m a n c e requirements under the standard ambient conditions of 3.1.3.
U n l e s s otherwise specified, the assembly shall meet the requirements of 3.3.1
t h r o u g h 3.3.5 when connected in accordance with figure 2. Unless otherwise
s p e c i f i e d , all voltage measurements shall be the root mean square (rms) value
o f the voltage component which is in phase or 180 degrees out of phase with
r e f e r e n c e p h a s e E3 (in phase component) and, where specified, j transfer
f u n c t i o n terms shall be voltage component which is + 90 degrees out of phase
w i t h E3 ( q u a d r a t u r e c o m p o n e n t ) .
3 . 3 . 1 Rotor output voltages. The nominal output voltages E AC and E B C
m e a s u r e d with respect to terminal C (see figure 2) shall be described by the
following transfer functions: (See 4.6.2.1)
