4.3.2
Inspection procedure.
4.3.2.1 For examination and tests. The sample components and subassemblies
shall be examined and tested in accordance with the classification of defects.
4.3.2.2 Acceptance/rejection criteria. If any assembly, components, or test
specimen fails to comply with any of the applicable requirements, the preproduc-
tion sample shall be rejected. The Government reserves the right to terminate
inspection upon any failure of any assembly, component, or test specimen to
comply with any of the requirements.
4.4 Quality conformance inspections.
4.4.1. Lotting. Each lot dshall be identified and controlled in accordance
with MIL-STD-1168.
4.4.2 Sampling for examination and nondestructive tests. Sampling shall be
conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-105.
4.4.3 Inspection procedures for examination and nondestructive test. The
service kit components and the level A packaging shall be examined and tested
in accordance with the classification of defects and with MIL-STD-105.
4.4.4 Critical defects. Each pressure check gauge assembly in the lot shall
be inspected for the critical characteritics listed in the classification of
defects.
