MILITARY SPECIFICATION
SEPARATOR SYSTEM, OIL-WATER, COALESCER-TYPE,
5 GM CAPACITY
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies
of the Department of Defense.
1.
SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers a 5 gallon per minute (gpm) capacity, two-
stage, coalescer-type, oil-water separator system with a prefilter stage and
automatic oil discharge controls. The system shall include a supply pump
and expendable coalescer and prefilter elements.
2.
