SPECIFICATION
SLIP RING ASSEMBLY
This Specification is approved for use within the US ArmY
-
Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command and is available
for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department
of Defense.
1.
SCOPE
1.1 Purpose. This specification establishes performance,
test, manufacture, design and acceptance for the sliP ring
assembly for use in the Vulcan Air Defense System (VADS).
1.2 Item description. The slip ring assembly transfers
electrical energy from a stationary structure to a rotating
structure.
