Note: Resistance between each pair of points shall not exceed 0.15 ohm.
4.8.2.6.4 Continuity of VOLTAGE and LEAKAGE meter circuit, meter bypassed. With the
panel-chassis assembly removal from the case, procedures 4.8.2.6.4a through 4.8.2.6.4m shall be
performed in sequence.
a. Set the ON-OFF switch at OFF.
b. Connect a jumper across the VOLTAGE and LEAKAGE meter terminals. This jumper must
be as short as possible and make positive electric contacts with both meter terminals.
c. Connect the precision ohmmeter between pins A and B of the 3-pin ADAPTER CABLES
connector.
d. Set the ON-OFF switch at ON.
e. Set the TEST SELECTOR switch at 2 and the NO LOAD-LOAD switch at LOAD.
f. Momentarily depress the START switch- The ohmmeter shall indicate 0.15 ohm or less for
about 5 seconds after the START switch is depressed.
g. Set the ON-OFF switch at OFF.
h. Remove the ohmmeter lead from pin A and connect it to pin C of the 3-pin ADAPTER
CABLES connector.
i. Set the ON-OFF switch at ON.
j. Momentarily depress the START switch. The ohmmeter shall indicate 0.15 ohm or less for
about 5 seconds after the START switch is depressed.
