4.826.6.1 VOLTAGE and LEAKAGE meter coil resistance With the panel-chassis assembly
removed from the case and Cable Assembly CA-731 disconnected from the panel chassis assembly,
procedures 4.8.2.6.6.1a through 4.8.2.6.6.1j shall be performed in sequence at a temperature of
to
a. Set both the ON-OFF switch and the TEST SELECTOR switch at OFF.
b. Connect a 6-volt heavy duty dry cell, the 50,000-ohm resistor specified by 4.7j, and the 50,000-
ohm potentiometer specified by 4.7k in series, connecting the center tap of the potentiometer
either to the battery or the resistor.
e. Observing polarity, connect the series combination of b, above, across the terminals of the
VOLTAGE and LEAKAGE meter.
d. Turn the potentiometer shaft to the approximate center position.
e. Set the ON-OFF switch at ON.
f. Adjust the potentiometer for full scale reading cm the VOLTAGE and LEAKAGE meter.
g. Set the ON-OFF switch at OFF.
