Cables are to perform the connec-
tions to the individual units of the Radar Set AN/APN-59 or AN/APN-59A under test and the
Test Cables permit removal of components or subassemblies for their test and service on the
workbench.

Aligning Tools and Covers - The Aligning Tools and Covers shall meet the
3.4.5
following requirements.
3.4.5.1
Function - The Aligning Tools are supplied for service and adjustment of
the Antenna AS-653/APN-59 under test. The two covers are for safety and protection of per-
sonnel and equipment when working on the RT-289/APN-59 with the covers removed.
