MILITARY SPECIFICATION
TRACTOR, AIRCRAFT TOWING, DIESEL ENGINE DRIVEN (DED), 4 X 4, 4 WHEEL
STEER, 10,300 POUNDS DRAWBAR PULL, PNEUMATIC RUBBER TIRED
This specification is approved for use within
the Department of the Air Force and is available
for use by all Departments and Agencies of the
Department of Defense.

SCOPE
1.1
Scope. This document covers 4 x 4,4 wheel steer, pneumatic tired, diesel engine driven tractors
intended for usc as aircraft towing and spotting vehicles for aircraft weighing up to 175,000 pounds and
trailers weighing up to 93,000 pounds.
