MILITARY SPECIFICATION
TRAILERS, LIVING QUARTERS: SELF-CONTAINED,
MODIFIED COMMERCIAL
This specification is approved for use by the US Army Tank-Automotive Command,
Department of the Army, and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of
the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
* 1.1 Scope. This specification covers five sizes of self-contained, all metal aircraft type
construction, travel trailers for use as living quarters. Trailers procured under this specification
are commercial items which are required to be warranted by the manufacturer as specified in
acquisition documents.
Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may
be of use in improving this document should be addressed to: US Army Tank-Automotive
Command, ATTN: AMSTA-UED, Warren, MI 48397-5000, by using the self-addressed
Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this
document or by letter.
