Intgrated noise measurements. All tests detailed
herein depend on the integrity of the bandpass filter bandwidths
which are tested and verified per their respective drawings (see
3.2.1 for drawing list).
a. Connect equipment as shown in Figure 3, with the
exception of the O MOD INPUT port of the 10556651 (item
18, Table III) which should have its 50 ohm termination
cap still in place. Set the 10556651 channel selector
to Channel 1.
b.
Using Table V as a guide, adjust the variable waveguide
attenuator (iten 16, Table III) for +10 DBM Input signal
to the RF IN port of the noise tester, using the power
meter (item 6, Table III) as an indicator.
