TEST METHOD NO. 25
HYDRAULIC FITTINGS
1.
TEST APPARATUS:
Common handtools.
2.
TEST PROCEDURE:
a. Remove one hydraulic hose assembly that has permanent-type
fittings.
b. Replace the hose assembly with an equivalent field attachable
fitting only to assure interchangeability.
c. Repeat "a" and "b" above until each hose assembly with
permanent-type fittings is replaced with a hose assembly with
reusable fittings.
d. After completing the above test reinstall the original hose
assemblies on the truck.
