MILITARY SPECIFICATION SHEET
TRUCK, LIFT, FORK, DIESEL-ENGINE-DRIVEN, PNEUMATIC-TIRED,
10,000-POUND CAPACITY AT 48-INCH
LOAD CENTER, 150-INCH LIFT
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies
of the Department of Defense.
The complete requirement for procuring the truck described herein shall
consist of this document and the latest issue of MIL-T-52864.
REQUIREMENTS
1
Capacity: 10,000 pounds at 48-inch load center.
2.
Collapsed mast height: 95 inches maximum.
3.
Maximum fork height: 150 inches minimum.
4.
Free lift height: 25 inches minimum.
5.
Fork size: 2-9/16 inches maximum thickness X 8-1/16 inches maximum width
X 72 inches long, plus 0 inch minus 1/2 inch.
6.
Fork spacing: 18 inches to minimum 60 inches.
7.
Overhead guard height: 95 inches maximum.
8.
Right-angle turn dimension "A": 290 inches maximum.
9.
Underclearance beneath mast assembly: 6 inches minimum.
10. Transmission: Not less than two speeds forward and two spee ds reverse.
