6.4 Old engraved or stamped lot and serial numbers. Old serial numbers and lot numbers engraved
or stamped on metal parts shall be over-stamped by x's to obliterate those markings before applications of final
protective finish.
6.5 Nylon pellets. Components which contain nylon pellets and are to be replated or anodized shall have
the pellets removed and new pellets installed after new application of protective finish. Pellets shall be
installed in accordance with the applicable drawing.
6.6 Subject term (keyword) listing.

6.7 Changes from previous issue. Marginal notations are not used to identify changes with respect to
the previous issue because of the extensiveness of the changes.
