MILITARY SPECIFICATION
TRUCK: COMPACT FORWARD CONTROL VAN, RECRUITER
5,400 POUNDS GVW, 4x2, COMMERCIAL
This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the
Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers a forward control, gasoline engine driven, four-wheel,
two-rear wheel drive, commercial integral cab-van-body compact type truck (recruiter) having a
minimum gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 5,400 pounds. The vehicle is equipped with an
elevating or stationary raised roof section. Vehicles procured under this specification are
commercial items which are warranted by the manufacturer as specified in acquisition
documents.
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
