MILITARY SPECIFICATION
TRUCK, VAN, PANEL: CALIBRATION AND REPAIR: 3900 KILOGRAMS
(8,600 POUNDS) GVW, 4X2, MODIFIED COMMERCIAL
This specification is approved for use by the US Army Tank-Automotive Command,
Department of the Army, and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies
of the Department off Defense
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers diesel or gasoline engine driven, four-wheel, two-rear
wheel drive, forward control type commercial panel trucks, with cabinetry and shelving. The
truck has a minimum gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 3900 kilograms (kg) (8,600 pounds).
Vehicles procured under this specification are commercial items which are warranted by the
manufacturer as specified in acquisition documents. See figures 1 through 5.
