3.4 Interchangeability. All parts having the same part number shall be
completely interchangeable with each other and with like parts of other
manufacture with respect to installation and performance. Parts joined
together by welding, brazing or riveting shall be interchangeable as
assemblies. Interchangeability shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-454,
Requirement 7.
3.5 First article inspection. This specification contains technical
provision for first article inspection. Requirements for the submission of
first article by the contractor shall be as specified in the contract ancf 4.4.
3.6 Characteristics.
3.6.1 Performance. The LCU shall comply with the performance
requirements specified herin, when tested as specified in 4.5, 4.6 and 4.7.
3.6.1.1 Electronic characteristics. The LCU electronic characteristics
shall be as specified in Table III.
