tating joints and flexible hoses.
3.4.1.6.2.7 Blower Assembly.
3.4.1.6.2.7. 1 Function.
The Blower Assembly shall provide filtered cool-

ing air to the AN/APG-59 Radar Set LRU s when installed on the RF Section
Support Assembly and the Pallet Support Shaft Assembly, and to the Unreg -
ulated Power Supply, PP-4551/APG-59, when mounted on the Base
Structure.
3.4.1.6.2.7.2 Form Factor.
The Blower Assembly shall not exceed 28
inches by 20 inches by 25 inches, exclusive of ducting, and shall be mounted
on the deck beneath the Base Structure.
The weight of the assembly shall
not exceed 300 pounds.
3.4.1.6.2.7.3 Service Conditions.
The Blower Assembly shall operate
satisfactorily under any of the environmental service conditions or a
reasonable combination of these conditions as specified in section 3.4.1.4.
3.4.1.6.2.7.4 Primary Input Power Requirements,
The Blower Assembly
shall operate from input power of 3-phase, 115/200 V, 400-Hz, 2250 VA
maximum.
3.4.1.6.2.7.5 Noise Levels, Acoustical noise levels shall not be produced
from this assembly in excess of 85 decibels (dB) (O. 0002 microbar reference)
when measured 6 feet from the unit and 5 feet above the deck.
3.4.1.6.2.7.6 Performance.
The Blower Assembly shall provide a mini-
mum of 10. 5-pounds per minute (ppm) of air at a pressure head of 12.8 inches
of water. The thermal rise across the unit shall not exceed 5.5C (10 F),
and the energy dissipated in the motor shall not be carried into the output
air stream.
3.4.1.6.2.7.7 Contents of Unit.
The Blower Assembly shall consist of:
(a) Centrifugal Fan
(b) Transition Unit
