3.4.1.6.3.3.1 Rack Assembly.
3.4.1.6.3.3.1.1 Function.
The Rack Assembly shall provide mounting
provisions for the panels listed in contents of unit (see section
3.4.1.6.3.3). It shall provide certain Convenience Power Outlets (see
section 3.4.1.6.3.3.1.5).
3.4.1.6.3.3.1.2 Form Factor.
The rack frame shall be a standard 19-inch
rack per MIL-STD-189.
The weight of the entire unit shall not exceed 425
pounds . The vertical shock mounts shall be located between the rack and the
Base Frame of the Assembly.
The horizontal shock mounts shall be located
between the rack and bulkhead or equivalent support structure behind the
rack.
These mounts shall permit the Test and Control Rack to pass the
shock and vibration requirements of MIL-H-15362.
3.4.1.6.3.3.1.3 Cables. The interconnecting cables to the Radar Set
Control (RSC), the Selector -Test Programmer, and the Antenna Hand Control
which are mounted on the MCS Control Panel, shall be 72 + 6 inches long.
The first two units, while still electrically connected, can be separately
removed from their mountings and be laid on the adjacent Drop Leaf of the
Receiver Section Bench Assembly.
3.4.1.6.3.3.1.4 Harness.
Electrical Inter connections within the Test and
Control Rack Shall be accomplished by a harriess.
3.4.1.6.3.3.1.5 Convenience Power Outlets, Two convenience Power
Outlet circuits shall be provided on the Rack Structure. Single-phase 115v,
400 -Hz shall be provided by two Convenience Power Outlets. One shall be
on the left side and the other on the right side of the Rack Structure.
Three -phase 115/200V, 400-Hz shall be provided by one outlet on the right

side of the Rack Structure.

breakers.
